The New York State Legislature needs to finish the work has been started and make a Women’s Equality Agenda a reality for the women of New York State. The measures of the Women’s Equality Agenda reflect the complexity of women’s lives – economic security, access to reproductive health, and freedom from violence are all essential to women’s equality.  By making the Women’s Equality Agenda law,  our state Senate and Assembly will help the ten million women of New York advance toward true equality.

Letter Example #2

New Yorkers can no longer let politics stand in the way of women’s lives. Our state needs a Woman’s Equality Agenda to update our laws to reflect the reality of women’s lives today. The measures of the Women’s Equality Agenda would help working pregnant women, girls trafficked in the sex trade, women abused by their intimate partners, employees facing sexual harassment or pay discrimination, as well as safeguard our access to reproductive health care. It is crucial for our lawmakers to take action to upgrade our laws and ensure full equality for New York women.

Letter Example #3

New York needs laws as strong as the women of our state.  The Women’s Equality Agenda is the key to upgrading our laws to ensure equality for New York women and families.Women deserve the comprehensive package of women’s equality measures. I strongly encourage the New York State legislature to take action. This should not be a difficult vote for representatives who care about women and their well-being.
